Six Flags Great Adventure Experience

Part of the Let’s Gather Community Recreation Transportation Series

  • The Great Adventure Community Recreation Program is a group-based outing designed to promote social interaction, shared routines, and participation in a public recreational setting.

  • Planned Program Dates: July–August
    Programming is expected to operate primarily on weekends, with select weekday options as available.

  • Participants attend the program with a caregiver and take part in a structured visit to Six Flags Great Adventure, including transportation to and from the park and time inside the park for rides and breaks.



    Admission tickets, food, and personal items are not included.

Program Goals

• Encourage social interaction in a group setting.

• Support participation in shared community activities.

• Build familiarity with public recreational environments.

• Promote routine participation and group pacing.

What’s Included

• Door-to-door transportation for the participant and caregiver.

• A structured group outing to Six Flags Great Adventure

• Estimated 3–4 hours inside the park.

• Group pacing and planned transitions.

• Return transportation to the participant’s home.

*****All participants must be accompanied by a caregiver for the entire duration of the program, including transportation, time at the park, and the return trip home.

If a caregiver does not attend, the participant cannot join the program for that date. This requirement is mandatory and non-negotiable.*****

Waitlist Policy

If a date reaches capacity, families will be placed on a waitlist and contacted when space becomes available.

Program Investment

  • $550 per trip (Participant & Caregiver)

  • Payment is due at the time the reservation request is submitted.

  • Payments are non-refundable once submitted.

  • Placement is based on availability.


Families using third-party or agency-supported funding are encouraged to contact us directly regarding billing and enrollment procedures.

Schedule & Reservations

• Weekly schedules are released every Monday

• Space is limited and based on availability

• Families receive reservation links once dates are released

Cancellation & Attendance Policy

Cancellation Deadline

If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us by 12:00 PM (Noon), two calendar days before your scheduled program date.

• Cancellations made by this deadline will receive a refund of $500. A $50 administrative processing fee applies to all cancellations.

• If you cancel after this deadline, your payment will not be refunded. You will receive one credit to reschedule for another available trip date during the current July–August program season.

Credits

• Credits must be used during the current July–August season.
• Credits expire at the end of the season and are not refundable.
• Each family may receive up to two late cancellation credits per season.

No-Shows

If a participant does not attend without prior notice, the reservation is non-refundable and no credit will be issued.

Weather & Program Adjustments

In the event of severe weather or circumstances that impact park operations, Let’s Gather may reschedule the program date. Families will be notified promptly if changes are necessary.
